6 Of The Best Things To Do In Toronto

6 Of The Best Things To Do In Toronto

Toronto is a big city that most people describe as boring. We gave it a shot and tried the most popular activities to do so we could give you our opinion on them. Here are 6 activities you can do:

  1. Distillery District
  2. Casa Loma
  3. Shop in Dundas Square
  4. Eat at a cute spot
  5. Graffiti alley
  6. Bins gone wild

Distillery District

We went during the Christmas holidays and had so much fun visiting the Distillery Winter Village. There are 40 boutiques and one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and so much more. When it’s Christmas, you can take pictures with Santa and look at the beautiful and huge Christmas tree. Worth a visit at any time of the year.

Casa Loma

Casa Loma is a castle that was built in 1914 by financier Sir Henry Pellatt. Now owned by the City of Toronto, it has become one of Toronto’s top tourist attractions and hospitality venues. You need a ticket to visit the castle which costs 40$ CAD per adult. I do not regret paying the price for this activity since it is unique and beautiful. You will see beautiful rooms and learn some history. I totally recommend this activity. My favorite room was the greenhouse.

Shop in Dundas Square

If you like shopping, Dundas Square looks like a mini New York. Shopping during a trip is definitely not something everyone likes to do but you can always go take a look for the fun of it.

Eat at a cute spot

Many restaurants have good food and are aesthetically pleasing. Take a look at my article: “4 Of The Best Places To Eat In Toronto Canada”.

Graffiti alley

This is definitely not a must but if you want to go take a couple of pictures or just stop on your way to go somewhere else it can be interesting. You won’t stay more than 5 minutes if you are not taking pictures. There is nothing else to do than take a look at the art. The street is actually pretty dirty. We thought it was a street reserved for art but no, it is a small alley that is not taken care of really well.

Bins Gone Wild

This is one of the most popular activities and we were really excited to try it out. We were pretty disappointed. It looks like a big mess. Nothing is organized making it look like trash more than anything. It is pretty far from Toronto’s center so if you don’t have a lot of time you can definitely take it off your itinerary. If you are a very patient person, maybe searching through all the stuff in the bins will be more fun for you. I did not enjoy it at all, impatience being a big part of me(Jezabel)… Oupsi 🙂
