Eagle Beach (My Ultimate Favorite)
Location: Western coast near Oranjestad
Best for: Sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and jet-skiing
Aruba is filled with beautiful beaches, but if you had to choose just one, Eagle Beach would be my top recommendation. I’ve seen plenty of pristine beaches with crystal-clear water, but there’s something special about Eagle Beach that sets it apart. Especially at sunset, the scenery is so perfect it feels unreal—no filters required! There’s a reason this beach was once ranked second among the world’s best beaches, and while the ranking may change, Eagle Beach will always be a top contender.
Because of its fame, it can get crowded. However, the beach is spacious enough that you’ll still find a great spot to relax.
My rating: 11/10 – the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen.
2
Palm Beach
Location: Next to Eagle Beach
Best for: Water sports, entertainment, and dining
Palm Beach is another iconic stretch of coastline in Aruba. It’s arguably the busiest beach, lined with luxury resorts, restaurants, and beach bars. When people refer to “Palm Beach,” they often mean the entire area, not just the sand and sea, because there’s so much to do and see nearby.
Like Eagle Beach, Palm Beach can be crowded, but it’s large enough to handle the crowds. The only downside is that a significant portion of the beach is taken up by private resort spaces.
My rating: 6/10 – Practical for its proximity to restaurants and shops but not particularly special.
3
Baby Beach (Best for Families With Young Children)
Location: Southern coast near Sint Nicolaas
Best for: Families and snorkeling
Baby Beach gets its name for a reason. Its curved shape creates a natural lagoon, offering calm, shallow waters that are ideal for families with young children or inexperienced swimmers. The water is crystal clear, making it a fantastic spot for snorkeling just a few feet from shore.
Although Baby Beach is a perfect family destination, it can be quite crowded.
My rating: 8/10 – Great for families, though busy.
4
Rodgers Beach
Location: Next to Baby Beach
Best for: Quiet relaxation, soft sands, and clear waters
If you’re searching for a quieter spot, Rodgers Beach is right next to Baby Beach and much less crowded. When we visited, there was only one other family there. While it lacks restaurants and rental services, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful beach day. Just be aware of the industrial structure nearby—it’s not pretty, but it doesn’t detract from the experience.
My rating: 8/10 – Peaceful and beautiful except for the industrial view.

5
Tres Trapi
Location: Northern coast between Boca Catalina and Malmok Beach
Best for: Snorkeling and photography
Tres Trapi is a small, hidden gem located between Boca Catalina and Malmok Beach. While the nearby beaches are better for sunbathing, Tres Trapi is perfect for snorkeling and taking photos. The natural rock staircase leading into the water is stunning, and the clear water is ideal for spotting fish.
Although it’s popular, it’s not a spot where people linger for long, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore the waters.
My rating: 7/10 – Perfect for photos and snorkeling but not a place to spend the whole day.
6
Hadicurari Beach (Top Kitesurfing Spot)
Location: Near Palm Beach on the northern coast
Best for: Kitesurfing
Hadicurari Beach is the go-to spot for kitesurfers thanks to its steady winds and shallow waters. It’s not crowded, largely because the beach itself isn’t ideal for sunbathing or swimming. The sand is not as inviting as other beaches, but this makes it perfect for those focusing on water sports without distractions.
My rating: 4/10 – Great for kitesurfing, but not a beach for lounging if you’re not into the sport.
7
Druif Beach
Location: Near Eagle Beach on the western coast
Best for: Sunbathing and swimming
Druif Beach is another excellent option, known for its soft white sands and calm waters. When we visited, it was a cloudy day, and the beach wasn’t crowded. Research shows that even on sunny days, Druif Beach tends to be less busy than the more popular beaches nearby, making it a peaceful choice.
My rating: 8/10 – A well-maintained, less crowded beach. A solid option.
8
Blackstone Beach
Location: Andicuri Bay
Best for: Photography and a lunch break
While exploring Andicuri Bay, you’ll pass by Blackstone Beach. Known for its unique, rugged beauty, this beach is fantastic for photography but not for lounging—its rocky surface isn’t suitable for lying down. It’s the perfect spot for a scenic lunch break during a day of exploration.
My rating: 7/10 – Beautiful for a quick stop, but not ideal for sunbathing.
