The Chocolate Hills consist of over 1,200 cone-shaped hills. During the dry season, the grass covering the hills turns brown, giving them a chocolate-like appearance. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from observation points and platforms.
Entrance Fee: The Chocolate Hills viewing deck costs around 50 pesos ($1 CAD).
Opening Hours: Open daily from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Best Time to Visit: The dry season (December to May) is the best time to visit, as this is when the hills take on their signature chocolate-brown color.

Experience the Nightlife
Panglao has a lively nightlife scene. During my stay at Mad Monkey Hostel, I noticed that almost everyone there had the time of their lives each night. The hotspots for nightlife change each week and season, so it’s best to check with Mad Monkey (even if you’re not staying there) to find out where the party is. You can also ask your hostel if they offer a pub crawl or have recommendations. Either way, you’re sure to have fun wherever you go!

- Stick to well-lit areas and avoid walking alone at night, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area.
