Starting Point/Parking

Look out for a distinct yellow building—this is your sign that you’ve arrived at the right place! For easy navigation, enter “Natural Bridge” into Google Maps, which will direct you to the correct spot.

2

Natural Bridge & Inukshuk

A short walk will lead you to two unique attractions: the iconic Natural Bridge and a collection of Inukshuk (stone figures) that visitors have crafted over time. The Natural Bridge was formed by the forces of wind and waves over centuries, though it collapsed in 2005. You can still see the remnants of the structure and admire the impressive new bridge nearby. The Inukshuk, a symbol of human presence and friendship, adds a cultural touch to the natural beauty.

3

Shark Bay

Despite its ominous name, Shark Bay isn’t known for shark activity. While I didn’t spend much time here, it’s still worth a quick stop to snap some photos before moving on. The area is popular for its unique rock formations and rugged coastline.

4

Andicuri Beach

Andicuri Beach is the perfect spot to relax and soak in the sun. The waters here are refreshing, and it’s a great place to cool off with a swim. However, the current can be strong, so exercise caution while swimming. Unfortunately, there’s some litter on the beach, so please be mindful and help protect this beautiful environment by leaving no trace. It’s also a favorite spot for bodyboarding due to its consistent waves.

Scary Ground Holes

As you make your way from Andicuri Beach to the Tripod Bridge, keep an eye out for some surprising and mysterious ground holes. I stumbled upon them by accident, and they added a bit of adventure to our exploration. These holes are thought to be remnants of old caves or natural water drainage systems, and they add an unexpected twist to your walk. Keep your curiosity piqued, as these are scattered around the area!

6

Tripod Bridge

The Tripod Bridge gets its name from its unique, three-legged structure. It’s a great spot to pause and admire the dramatic waves crashing beneath, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. This natural bridge has been shaped by the elements and stands as a testament to the power of nature.

7

Blackstone Beach

This is one of the most unique beaches in Aruba, with its dark volcanic rocks contrasting against the azure sea. There are also picnic tables nearby, making it a perfect lunch spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. The black stones create a striking landscape that feels different from the typical white-sand beaches of Aruba, making it a must-see.

8

Natural Aquamarine

For the adventurous, keep going beyond the usual stops to reach the stunning Natural Aquamarine. Fewer people make it this far, which adds to its special, untouched beauty. It’s an ideal location for stunning Instagram-worthy shots. The turquoise waters create a perfect backdrop for photos, and its secluded location makes it a peaceful retreat from the more crowded spots.

Additional Information

Walking distance: The route might seem far when you first arrive, but the walk from point A to point B is just 25 minutes if you stay on the main path and don’t make too many stops. The paths are easy to follow, and the terrain is relatively flat, making it accessible for most visitors.

What to bring: The prices at the small shop near the starting point are quite high, so be sure to pack your own food and water for the day. Bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan to swim, and don’t forget your camera to capture the incredible scenery! Wear comfortable shoes, as some areas are rocky, and bring sun protection as the northern coast can be windy but still sunny.

How to get there: Andicuri Bay is best accessed by a rental car, and it’s recommended to use a 4×4 vehicle as the roads can be rough and unpaved in some areas. If you’re not comfortable driving, you can also book a guided tour that includes Andicuri Bay as one of the stops.

Environmental Awareness: Be mindful of the local ecosystem. Bring reusable water bottles and avoid single-use plastics. If possible, pick up any litter you see to help maintain the area’s natural beauty.

Safety Tips: While the views are stunning, be cautious when walking near cliffs and rocks, as they can be slippery, especially near the water. Always check the tides before swimming, as the northern coast can have unpredictable currents.
