Remember your first travel days, when you didn’t feel guilty about leaving home, eating junk food and partying until sunrise? For us, it all started in Thailand, where we met again after not talking for 7 years.
Hi, we are Léonie and Jézabel, two French Canadian girls, who love to share our experiences and hopefully make them useful for you guys!
Based on every country we had the chance to visit, we are giving you recommendations of where to go/sleep, and what to do/eat. Of course, we haven’t travelled to all 195 countries yet, so give us time to do them all. We hope you will follow us during this amazing journey!
You might be wondering: “What made you start this project of sharing your travel experiences with us?”
Our honest answer to that is: After searching for information on the internet, it happened so many times that we were profoundly disappointed because the information was not accurate. More often than not, the bad sides were hidden, leaving us disappointed by the truth we had to face.
We want to offer you what we wish we had: the ultimate truth. We want to share the good sides of traveling and the good sides of the destinations, but we think it is also important for you to see the ultimate truth that can sometimes be hard to swallow.
Cherry on top is that we’ll never forget our travel days by sharing them with you.🤍🇨🇦
Who’s Léonie?
I’m the wave & mountains behind YFC and here is why: I am the calm, the patience and the relaxed side behind this project. I am always shy at the beginning of a new friendship, but when you crack my shell, I am the opposite of an introvert.
When I do a project, I give my 500%. My strengths are my capacity to work under pressure and my compassion for others. I saw a lot of things during my 10 months of travel and let me tell you, I have an open mind. Apart from my obvious passion for traveling, I am an animal person, a genius at puzzles and I dived for the biggest part of my life. I love to spend time with my dog & my boyfriend and play board games with my family.
Who’s Jézabel?
I’m the sun behind YFC and here is why: I am the life, the action and the party side behind this project. You can feel my positive and vibrant energy when I enter a place. What you see is what you get, I am as transparent as a human can be. My face might tell you my opinion before I pronounce any words.
My strength is the enormous amount of passion and determination I bring to the table. I get things done no matter what it takes. Apart from my obvious passion for traveling, I am a dancer, I have done theater for a big part of my life and I love my paddle board.
